Jammu, Sept 20: Nami Dogri Sanstha organised a multi-lingual "e- lok sangeet" programme based on folk songs in Dogri , punjabi , bhaderwahi and kashmiri. Prof Anupama Sharma renowned singer and Patron Youth Wing NDS presided over the function who also conceived and designed this event . The programme was conducted by Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS who offered his expert views on each musical item presented in the form of audio bites .. Advocate Harish Kaila President NDS coordinated and supervised the programme . Folk songs were posted by participants in the form of videos and audios in the Watts app group of NDS . Other group members also offered their views on the folk songs presented. Prof Anupama Sharma in her address said that our rich folk is our proud heritage and reflects our past social , geographical , historical , anthropological and environmental values and way of life .
