9/21/2020 11:53:08 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 21: In order to sensitize Principals/ Headmasters & Staff members about the various suggestive guidelines and processes related to reopening of schools , Directorate of School Education Jammu in collaboration with Bharti Foundation organised a webinar on Reopening of Schools for High and Higher Secondary Schools of Jammu Division. Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion which was followed by over 25 thousand people live and subsequently by thousands more on various social media platforms.
While addressing the participants, Anuradha Gupta pointed out that organising a webinar at this time has its own significance when the schools are partially reopening on 21st of September, 2020 and that too in those areas which don’t fall in containment zones. She told the participants that this reopening is only for 9th to 12th class students and that too on voluntarily basis. She asked the Heads of Schools to come up with a personalised plan about the level of achievement of students and their personalised needs. She also asked them to prepare a plan of action about blending of online and offline education of students so that a collaborative effort can be made to minimise their study loss and maximise their learning. All SOPS issued need to be followed in the schools. She appreciated the collaboration and efforts of Bharti Foundation for extending their services whenever they are required.
