RSETI organizes programme to rebuild rural entrepreneurship

Jammu, Sept 21: Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs) across the UT of J&K and Ladakh have come forward again to re-build the rural entrepreneurship by restarting the training programmes after the instructions of Unlock have been issued.
Out of total 22 RSETIs which have been set up in all districts across UTs of J&K and Ladakh, 15 RSETIs have started training programmes like Beauty parlor, cutting & tailoring etc in their respective Districts after obtaining permission by the concerned District Development Commissioners. Other RSETIs are under operation to start functioning from 21st Sept 2020 as per instructions of MHA guidelines. The operating RSETIs are organizing training programs by keeping in mind the current pandemic COVID 19 situation I.e. All guidelines of SOP like maintaining social distance, washing hands properly, proper sanitization, wearing masks etc are being complied with to reduce the risk in spread of COVID 19 Pandemic. Social distancing is also maintained in classrooms and labs. This was stated by A.K.Razdan State Director RSETIs for UTs of J&K/Ladakh.
Different types of skill trainings like Cell Phone Repairing, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrician, Plumbing, Beauty Parlor Management, Cutting & Tailoring, Soft Toys Making and Computer related programs etc are available at RSETIs, any training can be selected by the candidate with his/her own choice and interest. The trainings are of short duration i.e. 10 to 30 full working days which helps aspirants to build themselves in short time by learning both technical as well as entrepreneurial skills. All Rsetis in both UTs have imparted training to more than 70000 unemployed youth with settlement rate of 70%. The Rsetis are determined to carry on with this mission with full dedication and serve the cause of unemployment.
