Udhampur, Sept 22: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur organized awareness programme among people about National Education Policy 2020 under the presidentship of Renu Sharma Principal of the school. Main speaker was Pardeep Kumar Sangathan Mantri Jammu Kashmir. The programme is started with the lightening of lamp and reciting Saraswati Vandna by chief guest, Principal, and all staff members. Pardeep Kumar ji said about new education Policy. He said that the education policy system is changed after 34 years. He told us about the different stages of education. Foundation stage (5 years0 nurseries to 2nd in this stage the education is learning by doing. it is taught through mother tongue. Primary Stage 3rd to 5th 25% to 30% through activities. Students will learn by hand making things. Middle Stage 6th to 8th. Higher stage 9th to 12th. In this stage students can choose Subjects as their own will. This education policy is based on quality, learning by doing etc. Principal Renu Sharma said that this education policy helps us to become a self dependent India. In the last Sunil Badyal thanked to all the chief guest and guests present on the occasion. |
