DDC inspects health monitoring in Doda Containment zones

DODA, Sept 22: District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode, today inspected the covid control measures in containment zones in Doda township.
He took the firsthand appraisal of the implementation of the novel initiative of the district administration viz door to door health monitoring by the teams of Oxygen Doot/Oxygen Messenger and distribution of medicine kits.
He interacted with the teams comprising Oxygen Doot/Oxygen Messenger and health staff and appreciated their efforts for effective implementation of the novel initiatives.
"Three lives which were at the verge of death, were saved yesterday by the timely intervention of the Oxygen Doot" DDC said while interacting with them.
The DDC directed them to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm and generate maximum awareness regarding the preventive measures against covid.
The DDC also demonstrated the progression of the virus and directed surveillance teams to immediately report to the concerned Nodal Officer if they found any moderate and severe like symptoms during monitoring of the positive patient in particular under home isolation.
The DDC also enquired about the status of distribution of medicine kits among the positive patients. It was informed that medicine kits are being distributed among the positive patients and the process is on at many places.
The DDC also interacted with positive patients near their homes with due observance of social distancing and took feedback about the Oxygen Doot and distribution of medicine kits. The positive patients expressed satisfaction and informed that the Oxygen Doot are regularly monitoring their oxygen levels, besides providing medicine kits
The others accompanying the DDC during the visit were CMO, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, GM DIC, Dr Khalid Malik, besides Nodal Officers.
