SAMBA, Sept 22: A married woman along with her children from Swankha Morh, Vijapur, who went missing an year ago, was traced by police and reunited with her husabnd, police said on Tuesday.
Police sources said that on 31.03.2019, a written complaint was received at Police Station (PS) Vijaypur by one person, a resident of Swankha Morh, Vijaypur regarding the missing of his wife along with two children (both sons) from home since 05.02.2019. All efforts were made by him but the whereabouts of the missing wife could not be ascertained. Acting on the complaint, a missing report was lodged at PS Vijaypur vide DDR No. 15 dated 31.03.2019 and search started to trace out the said missing lady.
With continuous and strenuous efforts, a Police team of PS Vijaypur traced out the missing lady along with her two children from a relative’s home, as the missing lady alongwith her children left to her relative’s home without intimating the family member. After completing the legal formalities the lady along with her children handed her over to her husband at PS Vijaypur. Accordingly, the said missing report has been closed.
