Jammu, Sept 23: Former President BJP J&K Sat Sharma inaugurated newly constructed open gym at Ward 36, Janipur.
He was also accompanied by Corporator Subash Sharma, Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, local residents and political activists of the area. Sharma dedicated the open gym to the inhabitants of the ward and stated its construction in the ward as one of the major developments. The funds for construction of the same were allotted to the Corporator through JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation).
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it is a wonderful innovation and it is a dire requirement today as it caters with the fitness requirements that were required to maintain physical fitness. He appreciated the efforts of the Corporator and stated that earlier the ward did not have any place where inhabitants could go for leisure and physical activities and now the ward is equipped with such a beautiful thing which can be used by thousands of inhabitants residing in this ward and adjoining wards. He also stated that physical fitness is a dire requirement in today’s time and definitely helps in boosting immunity. Sharma also talked about the upcoming developmental works to be taken up in all 26 wards of Jammu West.
Subash Sharma stated that the ward is equipped with best possible infra and wherever required, the help of Former MLA is also taken from time to time and he appreciated his efforts for solving the grievances of the masses and taking Jammu West Assembly segment to new heights during his tenure. He also stated about upcoming works to be taken in the ward. Raveesh Mengi thanked the Former MLA for showing a proactive approach towards the public and solving their grievances timely. Sanjay Bhat, Ashok Khar, Jyoti Devi, Joginder Sharma, Suraj Praksah, Sher Singh, Sanjeev Kapoor, OP Thakur, Davinder Kumar and others were also present.
