Jammu, Sept 24: In an endeavour to curb the menace of Gambling in the society, Police party of Police Station Bahu Fort headed by Inspr. Deepak Pathania SHO P/S Bahu Fort assisted by SI Vikas Jasrotia I/C PP Narwal on a specific information raided near Suman Enterprise Spare Part Shop No. 68 at Yard No. 04 ,Transport Yard Narwal and arrested 06 gamblers along with Rs 1,00400/-stake money and two sets of playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Rajesh Gupta (Rajesh Kabadia) son of Lt karam Chand Gupta resident of 231 old Rehari, Jammu, Gurjeet Singh son of Tejinder Singh resident of Old Satwari, Govind Pura, Jammu, Ajeet Singh son of Karam Singh resident of Bathindi near Gurudawara, Jammu, Parshotam son of Charan Dass resident of Chatha Farm, Jammu, Harsimran Singh son of Rajinder Singh resident of Sant Nagar,Upper Gadi Garh,Jammu and Sukhdev Singh son of Maan singh resident of Simbal Camp, Near Police Line.
All the six gamblers have been booked under section-13 Gambling Act.
