AVM pay tributes to 1990 martyrs

Jammu, Sept 24: Members of Aarakshan Virodhi Manch Jammu paid tributes to the young martyr students, who sacrificed their lives for safeguarding the interest of the people of general category.
It is pertinent to mention here that 1990’s anti Mandal agitation was against the implementation of Mandal commission in which young students Rajeev Goswami , Surinder Chouhan and so many other about 250 youths sacrificed their lives in protest against anti general category decision of the government.
Ram Pal Seth described the martyrs the real epitome of courage, justice and equality. He also said that the political parties have neither learnt nor realised the demerits of caste based reservation till date and are continuing with discrimination and anti general category policies.
Madan Lal Narad General Secretary of the Manch alleged that all policies are being framed keeping an eye on the vote bank. He warned all political parties to stop policy of divide and rule.
