Sourab Bhagat presents sanction letters to 476 Ladli Beti scheme beneficiaries

KISHTWAR, Sept 24: Commissioner /Secretary Labour and Employment Department, Sourab Bhagat presented sanction letters to 476 Ladli Beti scheme beneficiaries here during an Adhikar Camp held at Chatroo in connection with the Block Diwas.
The Secretary also handed over educational assistance to 37 beneficiaries of Labour Department, Labour Cards to 707 workers, and Domicile Certificates to 542 eligible persons. Motorized tricycles and KCC cards were also given away to the eligible beneficiaries on the occasion.
On the 2nd day of his tour to the District, Shourab Bhagat, who is the incharge Secretary of District Kishtwar, presided over the 2nd Block Diwas/Youm-e-block here in the premises of TRC Chatroo .
He was accompanied by Labour Commissioner J&K Abdul Rashid War, CEO cum- Secretary Jammu Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Peer Muzaffar; Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik and other district heads.
Several deputations projected their demands and also apprised Commissioner Secretary about their grievances which include the Posting of doctors in the PHC Chatroo, establishment of new Power receiving station at Chatroo to augment old one and payment of land compensation to land donors at present rates.
They also demanded sanctioning of Wooden logs to PMAY- G beneficiaries for timely completion of their under construction houses ahead of winters, Establishment of Fire brigade station at Chatroo, conduct of special DG recruitment Drive in the block , early payment of MGNREGA wages, adequate staff in govt departments particularly education and health institutions, Road connectivity at Kisanpora, Gorinala, Arigam, Rahalthal, Tak Pora and Khayein areas, regularization of daily wagers, restoration of 4G internet services, sanctioning of JNV School for Chhatroo and commencement of work on Sighpora- Vyaloo tunnel among others.
Responding to the issues of the PRI members, Bhagat assured them that their genuine demands will be met in a time bound manner.
He also redressed many grievances on the spot and documented the rest for forwarding to the concerned heads for immediate redress.
