DODA, Sept 24: District Administration Doda, under the supervision of District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar D Doifode, is taking effective measures to effectively deal with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic crisis in the District.
In this regard, with the aim to improve the Health Infrastructure in the peripheral areas, besides to make it convenient to the health authorities to deal with the cases of Covid-19 in their respective areas, the Health Department, acting upon the directions of the DDC established a new ICU facility at CHC Thathri.
The ICU has been made functional with 5 ventilators, 10 Oxygen Concentrators and 2 cardiac monitors to effectively deal with the Covid-19 cases at Thathri.
Meanwhile, the DDC has also directed the health authorities to augment the facilities at PHC Malanoo and Bhella in similar manner so that the Covid patients shall be treated at the nearest health institution, which shall also reduce the load on AH GMC Doda. |
