Deputy Commandant injured in Batmaloo encounter recuperating well: CRPF | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Sept 24: Deputy Commandant (DC) of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Rahul Mathur who was critically wounded in Batmaloo Srinagar encounter in which three militants were killed on September 17, is now recuperating well after his successful operation. A spokesman for the CRPF on official Twitter account of Srinagar Sector said “Nothing can dent the spirit of the warrior! Shri Rahul Mathur, DC Valley QAT CRPF is back on his feet and recuperating well after his successful surgery at 92 Base Hospital. He said DC Mathur was leading Quick Action Team (QAT) of CRPF in Batamloo when he received two bullet injuries. He was admitted to 92 Base hospital in the headquarters of 15 Corps at Badami Bagh Cantonment Sonawar, Srinagar on September 17. Three militants and a local woman were killed in the encounter. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, his advisor R R Bhatnagar, Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir range Vijay Kumar visited the Base hospital to enquire about this health since he was admitted there. |
