9/25/2020 11:16:53 PM

Early times Report

JAMMU, Sept 25: The Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit has expressed its concern over the killings of the innocent in Kashmir region, urging the government to show seriousness about the safety of the leaders.
Dozens of Shiv Sainiks, led by Party’s State President Manish Sahni, staged a protest against killing of leaders in Kashmir Valley, holding directly responsible for such gruesome act. The protesters raised slogans against the Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in the Indian Territory. Talking to reporters, Sahni said that terrorism remains the main challenge for Jammu and Kashmir even today. The puppets of Pakistan are continuing their nefarious antics and innocents are constantly being targeted. In the last two months, five leaders including two Sarpanchs have been killed in different parts of Kashmir Valley. In the last two days, an advocate and BDC Chairman were killed by the terrorists, he said. Sahni accused the Centre and the J&K Governments of not making proper security arrangements for the safety of political leaders in J&K. Sahni, while appealing to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, said that the dream of restoring democracy in Jammu and Kashmir in the face of terrorism cannot be realized till the security of political leaders cannot be strengthened.
He appealed to the Central Government to continue its tough stand against separatist leaders and should also intensify the countdown of eliminating terrorists in the Union Territory.
