KCCC Greens wins inaugural tie

JAMMU, Sept 26: Vice President Youth National Conference Jammu Province and former Member BCCI, Ankush Abrol inaugurated KCCC Under-19 Friendship Cricket Series, being organized by Kishan Chand Cricket Club at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here today.
Chief guest Abrol was accompanied by Rajesh Dhar, former Chairman Media Committee JKCA as the guest of honour. Sports promoter Sanjeev Sharma and coach Ashok Kumar were also present on the occasion.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar, Cricket Coach.
Batting first, KCCC Reds scored 148 runs in 31 overs, losing all their wickets in 35-over match. Young Aarav Mahajan scored brilliant 90 runs off 76 balls, studded with 5 fours and 1 six, while Vansh Kharyal and Sushant contributed 14 and 10 runs to the total respectively.
From KCCC Greens, Sachin Sharma took 3 wickets, while Kanav took 2 wickets. Mannat and Rishav claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, KCCC Greens chased the target in 33.5 overs, losing 6
wickets in the process. Sachin Sharma top scored with 49 runs, while Vanshaj, Dhruv and Rishav contributed 26, 22 and 19 respectively. From RCC Reds, Bismat took 4 wickets, while Vansh Kharyal bagged 2 wickets.
