Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Sept 26 : In a tragic accident in Dadpath area of Kishtwar District, 11 persons were injured including three critically.
As per the details available with Early Times, an overloaded Cruiser Bearing Registration No.JK06-3021 meet with an accident near Miyan Dadpath Some 25 KM from Kishtwar.
As soon as the accident happened, the people along with local police and army immediately rush to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Kishtwar from where three critically injured persons were shifted to Srinagar Hospital by the family members after Hospital authorities denied ambulance to the injured persons for shifting to valley based hospital.
Despite repeated pleas by the general public and the family members that no bed was available in Jammu hospitals that are already facing crises due to huge influx of COVID 19 patients, the hospital authorities with CMO Kishtwar once again block the shifting of injured patients to nearest valley based hospital via Sinthan road as a result of which the families of injured patients left with no option other than to shift the injured in private vehicles to Srinagar via Sinthan road.
The people once again urged the government and administration to allow the use of Sinthan road and shifting of patients to valley based hospital since the Jammu hospitals lacks space and overburdened due to spike in COVID cases.
