BSP mourns demise of Party's J&K General Secretary Som Nath

JAMMU, Sept 26: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), J&K unit leaders and workers expressed shock over the demise of former MLA and General Secretary of J&K BSP, Som Nath.
In this regard, a condolence meeting was held in which party leaders paid tributes to the departed leaders and highlighted his contribution to the society.
“Som Nath was a true disciple of Kanshi Ram and proved himself a best orator in the Assembly and in the field while serving the people of J&K,” Somraj Majotra, President of J&K BSP unit said, adding that Som Nath had represented BSP in the Assembly from the year 1996 to 2002.
"Late Som Nath redressed the public grievances by raising the issues in the State Assembly. He was a very strong and dedicated party worker who stood firmly in the party even in crucial times," Party Vice President Charanjeet Chargotra said.
"Som Nath worked selflessly for the party and the people as he tried to reach out to masses at their doorstep to aware them and prepare them to fight for their rights," he said.
The party leaders and workers gave a tearful tribute to their beloved leader by raising slogans. They lauded his role in spreading the mission and always remained obedient to Behan Kumari Mayawati.
They also pleaded to take care of his family members and prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and to give strength to the family members to bear this loss.
Prominent persons who attended the condolence meeting included UT General Secretary, Shashi Bhushan Thappa Advocate, General Secretary Jagdish Verma, Raja Singh Cashier, District President Jammu Bharat Bhushan Kundal, Raman Kumar District President Kathua, RK Chalotra UT Secretary, Kuldeep Chalotra President Bhaichara Committee, Pawan Kundal Advocate, Abinash Attri Assembly President Samba, Tulsi Dass langeh, Badri Nath and Manoj Kumar.
