MDA organises awareness program for Stakeholders at Mansar

UDHAMPUR, Sept 27: Like other parts of the country Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority in collaboration with Directorate of Tourism, Jammu today celebrated World Tourism Day, here at Mansar.
CEO SMDA, Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh presented the Welcome address and gave a brief about the programme and highlighted the achievements of the Authority.
The main highlights of the event was to make aware the participants and stakeholders regarding COVID-19 guidelines by the health expert.
During the event, the participants /stakeholders were also made aware about salient features of Tourist Trade Act, 1978. The stakeholders were also guided with regard to the importance of Registration of all the stakeholders with Tourism activities and their registration.
The members of Panchayat Mansar and Bari Garh/stakeholders thanked Dr Jatinder Singh MOS (Independent charge) Ministry of Development of Northern Region and Minister of State for PMO Office for getting the approved project for Mansar amounting to Rs.200 crs .
Among others present were officers of different departments, Sarpanchs and Panches of Panchayat Mansar, Bari Garh.
At the end vote of thanks was presented by Executive Engineer, SMDA Mansar.
