Kathua admin finalizes arrangements for ‘Back to Village’ programme

KATHUA, Sept 27: District Development Commissioner Kathua, O.P Bhahat today chaired a meeting of Block Development Officers to review the preparedness for Phase III of ‘Back to Village’ programme to be held from 2nd October to 12th October 2020.
The DDC exhorted upon the BDOs to keep ready all the prerequisite documents viz Gram Panchayt Profile, Development progress report besides Action taken report on issues, complaints and demands taken up in earlier editions of Back to Village programmes.
He also directed the ACD Kathua to ensure Draft Plan of MGNREGA and 15 FC, Panchayat News Letter and Coffee Table Book be kept readily available at each panchayat. The updated data of taken up works in each panchayat under B2V must be displayed, directed DDC.
The DDC impressed upon the officers to ensure all the visiting officer be provided with relevant information in prescribed format and appoint a Liaison Officer with each Visiting Officer of respective blocks.
ACD Kathua Narayan Dutt, BDO of all 19 blocks of Kathua district attended the meeting.
