358 oxygen cylinders utilized in GMC, AHs: Dr Digra

JAMMU, Sept 28: Principal Government Medical College, Jammu, Dr Nasib Chand Digra today informed that 18 covid patients have been discharged from Chest Disease Hospital (CDH) and 4 from Gandhinagar Hospital in the last twenty four hours after their full recovery.
Giving details of the patient care in GMC and Associated Hospitals, he said sufficient supply has been maintained to meet the requirement of Oxygen Cylinders for the Covid patients. Total 424 oxygen cylinders have been utilized in the last 12 hours- including 358 in GMC, 62 in Chest Disease Hospital and 4 in Gandhi Nagar Hospital,” the Principal informed. He further said that at present GMC has 126 covid patients, of which 30 are in isolation ward, 15 are in CCU, 12 in HUD, 34 in ward no 3 and 35 in ward no 7 and all of them are on oxygen supply. Similarly, out of 8 patients in Gandhinagar hospital 2 are on oxygen supply and 4 patients have been discharged, while out of 51 patients at CDH, 50 are provided oxygen support, while 18 patients have been discharged. He further informed that seven deaths have also been reported in GMC in the last 24 hours.
