FFMA remembers Shaheed Bhagat Singh

JAMMU, Sept 28: Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) today organized a programme to remember Shaheed Bhagat Singh, on his 112th Birth Anniversary, at Dogra Shaurya Sthal, here. The programme was presided over by the Association Chairman, Ved Gandotra, Vice Chairman, Rajiv Mahajan and President R.C Puri. Speaking on the occasion, RC Puri highlighted the life history of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his associates, who fought for the freedom of the motherland. Floral tributes were paid to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. A two-minute silence was also observed by all the participants.
Ved Gandotra threw light over the life history of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru and said that present Hindustan was breathing in free air due to their sacrifices.
Paying tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajiv Mahajan said that the hanging of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru became a turning point in the freedom struggle and proved as last nail in the coffin of British Rule.
