| NSS unit of GGM Science College organizes week long orientation programme | | |

Jammu, Sept 28: The NSS unit of GGM Science College organized a week long orientation program for NSS volunteers under the parontage of principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and supervision of Dr. Deepali Mahajan from 22nd Oct. to 28th Oct. 2020.
On day 1 started with the inauguration by motivational talk by NSS PO and an awareness program with theme to infuse hope and undying spirit among cancer warriors.
On day 2 motivational webinar by Dr. Hema Gandotra JU theme Role of NSS in development of youth followed by awareness Teachings of Maharaja Hari Singh poster making, articles, video making in dogri language. Day3 NSS awareness day awareness videos, pledge taking.
Day4 inspirational webinar by Dr. Pankaj Sarswat on once volunteer always a volunteer followed by celebrating heritage day and daughters’ day by videos slogans and posters.
On fifth day drug abuse awareness and lecture by Jasvir Singh Indira Gandhi NSS National Award winner addresses the volunteers give lecture on NSS in Personality Development, Community Service, Nation Building, COVID and in Post -Covid Period.
On sixth virtual tours on promoting JK tourism in team were made by NSS volunteers. On the 7th Dr Shalini Rana the GCOE webinar on role of NSS in National development followed by pledge by volunteers Yes I will work for nation.
The workshop conducted by online mcqs on the basis of the different activities done. |
