| Rajput Sabha Billawar celebrates birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
BILLAWAR, Sept 28: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha Billawar (Deoli) Distt Kathua held a function on the eve of 126th Birth Anniversary of Late Maharaja Hari Singh at Sabha Bhawan Billawar (Deoli) Distt Kathua to pay homage and rich tributes to Late Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir. Kr Narayan Singh President Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha Jammu and Kashmir was the chief guest.
Shri Raj Kumar, President Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha Billawar apprised all the dignitaries irrespective of Caste and creed, present in the function that due to COVID-19 pandemic, the gathering of invitees was restricted to minimum.
“Havan” was performed and Ahuties were offered to Goddess. Floral tributes were offered to Maharaja.
The people raised demands that Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha should immediately declare Gazetted Holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh on 23rd of September each year and Billawar be declared separate District for people of Billawar.
Kr Narayan Singh President Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha in his address thanked all the people for their participation in the function. He assured the gathering that both the issues of Billawar residents shall be brought before the appropriate forums for redressal.
