Prominent political activists from Anantnag-Kulgam join Apni Party

SRINAGAR, Sept 29: Various prominent political activists from Anantnag and Kulgam district on Tuesday joined the Apni Party in its office at The Bund in Lal Chowk Srinagar.
Those who joined the party included Bashir Ahmad Bragami former zone president PDP zone Dooru, prominent social activist and lawyer Faizan Ahmad Haji from Shangus constituency, Haji Ali Mohammad from Kokernag former Congress Block President along with their dozens of workers. On this occasion, Mohammed Sharif Bhat, chairman Block Development Council from Noorabad also joined the Apni Party along with dozens of his workers.
All these new entrants were welcomed by the Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Party’s vice president Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, District President Anantnag Abdul Rahim. Rather, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, party leaders Muntazir Mohi-u-Din and Irfan Naqeeb. Party’s senior leaders Mohammad Dilawar Mir and Abdul Majeed Padder who were also present on this occasion also welcomed the new entrants.
“The challenge before the Apni Party is how to help the people of J&K to come out from the prevailing uncertain atmosphere.

But we are committed for the public service and we will always be available for the people to serve them irrespective of the circumstances we are in,” Bukhari said, while welcoming the new entrants. Apni Party president remarked that the first and foremost message to newcomers would be to try to reach out to the people in their vicinity and facilitate redressal of their sufferings. Meanwhile, a deputation from Kashmir Pandit community from Vessu Qazigund called on the party president at the party office in Lal Chowk. The delegation appraised Bukhari about the issues and problems faced by them including the unnecessary delay in the implementation of SRO 425.
