9/29/2020 11:40:36 PM

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 29: Apni Party Provincial President Manjit Singh has expressed deep concern over the poor infrastructure and shabby condition of roads in Domana which is hardly a few km away from the City.
“The Public Works and other Govt Depts concerned with the work should take up developmental activities in Domana and its adjoining areas where condition roads are in bad condition,” said Manjit Singh. The Former Minister said that Domana should be a symbol of development for other villages in Jammu region but the lack of interest in the administration towards developmental activities has put the normal life out of gear in these areas.
Referring to the road condition of Domana police station to Shiv Mandir, Manjit Singh said that the potholes need to be repaired because of its worst condition as the commuters cannot drive on the road. The Former Minister said that “From last 40 to 50 years, the Power Development Department has failed to replace the old wires which have become defunct. The replacement of the electricity supply wires will not become cause of accidental fire or other mishaps.”
He said that the wires need to be replaced immediately by the PDD to avoid any damage to life or property of the people in Domana. “Wires hanging from the polls and trees are the cause of concern for the people,” said Manjit Singh while meeting the delegation of people from Panchayat Lower Domana.
On hearing their concerns, the Apni Party senior leader spoke to the officials in the department concerned and highlighted their issues.
Prominent among those who joined the Party included Nilam Singh, Swaran Singh, Subash Singh, Arjun Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bhau, Jaggar Singh, Pashvinder Singh, Hamid Khan and others.
