UDHAMPUR, Sept 29: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr. Piyush Singla today reviewed the progress of roads, buildings, bridges and other ongoing developmental works of municipalities and other departments being executed by R&B department under CRF, NABARD, State sector and languishing projects.
At the outset, SE PWD, Shakti Sagar gave a detailed brief about the ongoing developmental projects. He informed about the status Central & State Sector Schemes which include Jeevika Bhawan, Udhampur–Ramnagar road, Special treatment to Kagadmad spot, Devika theme park, Renovation of Residential quarters, Status of Ramnagar - Dudu road, Culvert at Birwan to Dhanodi and execution of works in municipal areas etc.
While reviewing the project wise physical and financial progress, the DDC asked the PWD departments to expedite the pace of work and complete the projects within a given time frame. Directions were issued to concerned officers to gear up men and machinery for effective and timely completion of these developmental projects and utilization of 100 % funds well before the end of financial 2020-21.
Among others the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Giri, DIO, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia, Xen R&B Girdhari Lal, Deputy Director Planning Noor Ud Din and officers of different departments. |
