| JKSC organises Fit India Run for Freedom | | |

Jammu, Sept 30: J&K Sports Council organized “Fit India Run for Freedom” initiated by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi with the mission of keeping the youth careful of their health to disseminate the message in public that health is the most precious treasure to be cared to prolong, diseases free & long LIFE in the present problematic period of stress & strain. A good number of hockey players participated in the run.
Rajinder Singh KUKU General Secretary Hockey India flagged off the run, said that youth of India should remain fit so that our country can progress at par with other developed nation. This run can contribute a lot make youth aware about the physical fitness. Ashok Kumar Sharma Dy. Director STC Jammu while speaking on the occasion as Guest of honour appreciated the organisers & assured this full sports for promotion of sports, games & events. Hockey J&K presented a Hockey J&K T-Shirt as token of honour to him. Dr. Taran singh General Sec. Hockey J&K while speaking on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the staff of Hakku stadium for up keeping the dead AstroTurf. He demanded from Govt. to replace the age old Astroturf at an earliest and start work on other new astruTurf stadium on war footing as only sports is the potent anti-dote to drug addiction. |
