Jammu, Oct 1: A retried IFS officer, Tejbahadur Singh, who served as Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle Doda, on Thursday claimed that an officer of the Forest department, who under his command had faced department actions is defaming him.
Singh in a statement said that an officer under his command in the circle had faced departmental action for violating service rules and abusing his official positions in many cases. “Anybody can check the track record of the officer, who is defaming me. My case (induction into IFS) was cleared by the UPSC, there is a process for someone’s induction in Indian services”, he said, adding that each case goes through at least four step verifications and nobody can mislead the UPSC. |
