All set to launch B2V-3 in district: DDC Ramban

RAMBAN, Oct 1: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today convened a meeting of district and sectoral officers to sensitize them about certain direction given by the government regarding launch of Government-public interface programme “Back to Village” Phase-III to make programme a grand successful.
The meeting was attended by ACR, Dhrinder Sharma, DPO Sunil Bhutyal, DSWO, various concerned officers and officials
While DDC addressed the officers said that under this noble administrative outreach programme departments should focus on mission delivering development and good governance.
It was informed that district administration Ramban is all set to launch ‘Back to village 3’ programme which is going to be organised from 2nd October to 12 October in all 143 panchyats of the district.
DDC informed that in first phase programme would be organized in 67 Panchyats of block Banihal, Ukhral, Khari and Ramsu from 2nd to 4th October whereas 31 Panchyats of block Gool, Gundi-Dhram, Sangaldan and Gandhri would be covered in 2nd phase from 6th to 8th October similarly 3rd phase of the programme would be held from 10th to 12th october in 45 Panchyats of block Ramban, Rajgarh and Batote.
Visiting officers will stay for at least two-days including a night halt in assigned villages and the main aim of the program which is aimed at collecting the information from panchyats besides assessing the functioning of Panchayati Raj Institutions, he added.
DDC directed the officers to ensure presence of their designated officers /officials alongwith Panchyat wise information relating to their departments. Offers were directed to formulate panchyat wise database to strengthen development activities at panchyat level.
He appealed to the PRI's and general masses to cooperate with visiting officers besides sensitize the public of their areas to participate in this Government-public interface programme-Back to Village- for availing mega opportunity to ensure desirable development of their Panchayats.
