Modi Govt protected the interests of Ladakh: Anurag Thakur
10/9/2020 12:13:35 AM

Early Times Report

Ladakh, Oct 8: Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Anurag Thakur addressed eight public meetings in the election campaign of Leh Autonomous Hill Development Council and said that the Modi government is protecting interests of Ladakh and is committed to its develeopment.
Anurag Thakur said, "Ladakh is the crown of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to safeguarding the interests of Ladakh and protecting its interests. Modi's 6 years reign is full of achievements and among the achievements, making Ladakh a Union Territory is a special one. With the formation of a separate Union Territory of Ladakh, the campaign to fulfill people's aspirations has now become faster.
The Modi government is committed to provide more facilities with Sixth Schedule to the people of Ladakh and to preserve the land, culture and unique identity of Ladakhis.
The journey of development of self-reliant India is incomplete without Ladakh. If there is even a slight tension on the border, then Prime Minister Modi does not sit in his house in Delhi but instead comes to the border and stands with the army, with the people of Ladakh, it shows Modi ji's love towards Ladakh and Ladakhis ”
Speaking further, Anurag Thakur said "Congress talks about women's rights in the Parliament, giving 33% reservation to them, but not giving tickets to a single female candidate in Leh Hill Council elections shows their anti-women mentality.
Modi ji has worked to fulfill every demand of Ladakh, now it is the turn of Ladakh to strengthen the hands of Modi ji by ensuring win of BJP candidates from here in the upcoming Hill Council elections.
Modi government is promoting Education, Health, Infrastructure, Road, rail, air connectivity and working on world-class promotion of tourism "
Anurag Thakur said "China knows and has understood that the development of Ladakh is the dream of PM Modi and now this development is troubling China.
The cause of China's trouble is not only the border area roads and bridges in Ladakh but also Ladakh's entire development.
Roads are being built here, several schemes are being implemented to promote tourism, Leh Airport is being modernized, new terminal building is being built here which will be based on modernity as well as the art and culture of Ladakh.
Apart from this, Anurag Thakur reached the Thiksey Library and Cultural Center of Tibetan tradition in Leh and visited the ancient Tibetan art, literature and culture there. He received his blessings by offering courtesy to Buddhist scholar Shri Thiksey Khanpo Rinpoche.
