Jammu, Oct 9: A deputation of J&K Govt Employees Joint Action Committee(R) led by its State President Babu Hussain Malik along with Abdul Gani Chairman, Sher Singh provincial President, Billa vice president, Shabir Ahmed General secretary, Bilal Ahmad and Ramesh representative of J&K PDCL Casual labourers need base workers union call on Yasha Mughal Managing Director JPDCL Jammu and discussed several demands.
The delegation members said that a total of 870 need base workers are without any computer record in the Department, a Nic portal but they are continuously serving the department since 2005. “Under the circumstances it is possible for us to meet the expenses of bringing up and maintaining our families and bear the expenses of studies of our children. Total Casual labourers workers 870 have not been uploaded in computer record (Nic portal) and only 99 cawndidates have been uploaded in Nic portal but their wages have not been released till date”, they said.
The MD listened to all the grievances put forth by the deputationists and assured that all the pending issues of the casual labourers will be resolved as early as possible. |
