Jammu, Oct 17: The group of about 45 trekkers shall be led by 76 years young Prof. Lalit Magotra, a founder member and now an Advisor of the club.
The group also includes 71 years young President of the club Ram Khajuria, 62 years young ex. Deputy Director Doordarshan Kendra Jammu Sanjeet Khajuria, 57 years young Patron of the club Ashwani Sharma, former MLA; Principal of Oriental Academy Sr.Sec. School, Vivek Chauhan (49 years), Co- Chairman of the club Zorawar Singh Jamwal (44years) besides a sports journalist Sanjeev Sharma (48 years), Kamal Kumar ( 61years), Narinder Singh (55years) Sumit Khajuria, Manik Slathia, Sushil Singh and Sonam Sidharth, Vice President, Jt. Secretary, Treasurer and an executive member of Mountaineering Association of J&K respectively and a host of other active members of the club including Abhimanyu Sherpa (Jt. Secretary), Sumit Singh, Shilpa Charak & Arundeep Singh, both international sport Climbers; Ambreen Fatima & Souravdeep Singh, both trained mountaineers & Divya Wazir. A few very senior members in their seventies and sixties from Delhi are also likely to join the trek in case the covid-19 situation becomes conducive for safe traveling.
