Congress stages protest against misdeeds of BJP led NDA Govt

Jammu, Oct 19: Congress today protested against the misdeeds of BJP led NDA Govt, in the country. Abrogation of special status to Jammu and Kashmir, bifurcation of state, rising unemployment and poor health management were the main issues which BJP gifted to the state especially Jammu.
Congress workers led by Sr. Congress leader Varun Magotra accompanied by President Congress Army S. kirtan Singh, Distt. Mahila President Smt. Prabha Salathia, Naresh Maini, Narinder kour, Meenu Jamwal, Geeta Dogra, Mohinder Singh, Th. Hoshiyar Singh, Yog Raj Singh, Ranjeet Chopra, Varinder Partap Singh, Rahul Tandon, Mannat and others, staged protest at Press Club Jammu against the decision of UT administration for imposing property tax in all municipal limits. Having pla cards in hands, the protestors lambasted at BJP Govt, to impose such type of heavy taxes on poor populace of Jammu at this time when the economy got shuttered and people hardly managing their food. All the business establishments got affected and the citizens are suffering badly.
During the protest Mr. Varun Magotra added that if the govt, won't take necessary action in the concern, congress will stage more protests at block level, district level etc. for the benefit of the people.
