Jammu, Oct 19: Forty five Kashmiri Migrant candidates who were dropped from the selection for employment under PM Package during 2017, have now entered into 18th day on continue strike near Press Club Jammu, demanding their selection in employment under P.M. package.
The striking employees have been crying for their rightful demand for being selected Instead of knocking the doors of Lieutenant Governor, Advisors and other Administrative Officers, our sincere demand for our selection has not been made but served with hollow assurances at all concerns. The Slogan of BJP High Command that Beti Padow Beti Bachao has thus proved futile, by ignoring our demand inspite of sitting on dharma for eighteen days. The Govt. Machinery has turned a deaf ear towards our demand of selection and instead started process of fresh publishing advertisements under P.M. Package employment, which itself shows that Govt. is not serious for our selection, as we have now tasted the overage and are not able to apply again for any employment, which is another injustice with us. We again submit before the Leut. Governor, Advisor Concerned, Chief Secretary , Commissioner Secretary Education, JK.U.T, and Divisional Commissioner Jammu to accede our genuine demand for consideration of our selection under P.M. Package Employment Scheme.
