| UTTA expresses strong resentment delay in opening of Sports Complex Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 20: Udhampur Table Tennis Association expressed strong resentment over the delay in opening of Indoor Sports Complex Subash Stadium Udhampur.
In a handout issued today by the Association, General Secretary UTTA, Tarun said that on 30th September MHA issued guidelines of Unlock 5.0 in which ministry of Home affairs clearly permits the opening of Sports complexes & resumes sports activities, while on 08 Oct J&K UT administration also implemented the same guidelines but sports lovers are still waiting for the opening of sports complexes in Udhampur.
He point out that due to lack of coordination between District Administration & J&K State Sports Council Udhampur as well as due to their casual approach & iLL planning young sports lovers forced to quit their favourite game, he added
UTTA said that on the one hand Various sports departments are organising sports events for their photo session only while on the other hand they are not permitting the sportspersons to do practice in regular manner despite after the guidelines of MHA. He said that outdoor subash sports stadium Udhampur also in apathetic condition for which the authorities are completely turned blind eye.
Tarun said that authorities concerned & district Administration Udhampur both are completely failed to redress the issues of Sports persons in Udhampur.
UTTA made strong appeal to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to take cognisance of the matter at earliest. |
