Jammu, Oct 20: Kashmiri Pandit's cultural workshop was wound up at Sanskriti Bhawan, Aap Shambhu road, Jammu, which was sponsored by Sangeet Natak Akademy, New Delhi.
Former President BJP J&K Sat Sharma (CA) was the chief guest on the occasion. Prof. Ashok Aima VC Central University, Jammu and Er. Kiran Wattal Former JMC Commissioner, was the Guest of honors. The program was organized by Priyanka Koul (coordinator/director) of the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma encouraged the participants to revive & showcase the niceties & intricacies of Kashmiri Pandits culture and folk.
Sharma also averred that it should be done at a larger level by the support of the Government and said that wherever required, he will always support their cause.
Ashok Aima was ecstatic on seeing the event and expressed his best wishes to the participants for showcasing the faded tradition & attires of Kashmiri Pandits. |
