Jammu, Oct 20: Advisor K K Sharma along with other dignitaries today visited the stall of Horticulture department at Parade Ground Jammu during the programme "my town my pride".
People were given three plants per household at 90 percent subsidy with the aim to increase green cover in Jammu city, to produce quality pesticide free organic fruits for home consumption and also to reduce pollution in the atmosphere.
Sanctions regarding important beneficiary oriented works were distributed to the orchardists by worthy advisor. Different kinds of fruits that are produced in jammu were displayed there, and queries of the people regarding schemes of the department, fruits , fruit plants and their pests and disease control were also discussed in detail.
Worthy advisor was accompanied by , Atul Dullo IAS Financial commissioner Health and medical education, Smt Sushma Chouhan IAS District Development Commissioner jammu and Commissioner Jammu municipality IAS Avni lavassa.
