Cong takes strong exception to statement of MoS Home
‘BJP should explain PM’s visit to Pakistan, ‘Jhula’ diplomacy with China’
10/21/2020 12:46:23 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Oct 20: Congress has taken strong exception to the highly irresponsible and politically motivated statement by the Union MoS Home G K Reddy against the Congress party which has a history of sacrifices for the unity and integrity of the nation, while asking him to justify the unscheduled visit of Prime Minister Modi to Pakistan when the rogue nation was engaged in series of terrorist attacks on our forces.
Reacting strongly to the statement of Union MoS Home for his out of context charge against the Congress party equating the grand old party with Pakistan and China, JKPCC said that it is most unfortunate that such politically motivated statements come from the Union Minister, who appears to be ignorant about the role of Congress party during freedom struggle and post-Independence and the supreme sacrifices of our great leaders for the unity and integrity of the country.
Terming it the lowest level of narrative of a Union Minister for the political motives for Leh and Bihar elections, JKPCC said that Reddy should know more about the role of Congress and its leaders in the freedom struggle and post-independence. Such statements do not behave a leader of Union Minister, to utter such irresponsible words for the party having history of 135 years of struggle and sacrifices.
Least bothered by such politically motivated and false tirades, the Congress party would remain steady and strong on its path of respecting the diversity and diverse ideas in our pluralistic society and its multiplicity of political philosophies and ideologies, each adding to the beauty and strength of our democracy and the country.
Before targeting Congress, the BJP leaders should explain the unscheduled visit and gestures to Pakistan, contrary to his statements and stand, when that Country was engaged in series of attacks on the major installations of our forces and targeting our jawans on the borders.
The ruling BJP should explain the failures of ‘Jhulla’ diplomacy of PM Modi towards China, who was continuously adopting hostile actions and targeting our forces and martyred our jawans.
