JAMMU, OCT 21: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday transferred Principal Government Medical College, Jammu Dr. Nasis Chand Digra, while giving new Principal charges to Dr. Shashi Sudan, Head Department of Microbiology, GMC Jammu till a regular arrangement is made. In an order issued by the Department of Health and Medical Education Department, which reads, “In the interest of administration and patient care, it is hereby ordered that Dr. Nasib Chand Digra, Principal Government Medical College, Jammu is transferred and posted as Secretary Technical in the Health and Medical Education Department”. It added, “During his posting as Secretary Technical, his salary shall be drawn against the post of Principal Government Medical College, Jammu”. The order reads, “Consequent upon the transfer, Dr. Shashi Sudan, Head Department of Microbiology, Government Medical College shall look after the charge of the post of Principal Government Medical College, Jammu in addition to her own duties, till a regular arrangement is made”.
