JMC mayor inaugurates registration camp for PMABY

Jammu, Oct 21: Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation inaugurated a camp organized for registration of Ayushman Bharat Scheme here in ward no.61 (Patta paloura area).
He was accompanied by Mohinder Kumar Councilor of ward no.61, Rajinder Singh Chib , Distt. President (Rural) BJP. The camp was organized for the benefits & convenience of the residents residing in the ward so that they could get themselves registered under this scheme.
During the camp, large number of families from patta Paloura & its adjoining localities were registered under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana(PMABY) a central Govt Sponsored health free health care scheme. Mayor said that besides registering the new beneficiaries in the yojana, the people who were already registered under the scheme will also be provided their Golden health cards and documents pertaining to new registration are also being collected by the common service centre (CSE) so that under this Health insurance every citizens will be covered under the same & avail the full benefits. Mayor further said under this universal health coverage, the beneficiaries shall be entitled to free health insurance cover of Rs 5 lacs per family per year on the floater basis and there is no restriction on family size, age or gender. All pre existing illnesses shall also be covered besides and cashless medical services shall also be made available in all the empanelled hospitals without any hindrance.
The beneficiaries under the scheme shall have access to major public & private hospitals across the country and avail benefits with facility of inter–state (U.T) portability. The beneficiaries shall also be eligible for coverage of 3 days pre hospitalization & 15 days post hospitalization expenses. He appeal to the general public to avail the medical benefits initiated by the Govt. which is totally meant for the betterment of the common people.
