Childline distributes ration among needy

Jammu, Oct 21: Childline Jammu today provided ration items to the children at Khaikriyal Village Jammu.
Ration items and soaps were provided to 40 children. During the event the participants were also made aware about the COVID 19 infection and how to protect themselves from the deadly virus.
They were also aware about the use of mask and social distancing as per the SOP,S of government. As the we are facing new threat from the deadly disease and no concrete method of protecting himself is not in place. But at present time we should focus on the SOP,S of government.
The participants were also informed about the CHILDLINE activities in Jammu and 1098 number. They were informed how and when they contact the CHILDLINE in difficult circumstances or any query which they want the solution. They were urged to call freely at any time as the CHILDLINE works 24*7. The program was organized under the guidance of Nodal director/HoD Prof. Kulwant Singh and collaboration with Director Ajay salaan (KAS) District social welfare officer Jammu.
The event was coordinated by Rohit Khajuria city Coordinator and pinki Jain Centre Coordinator Childline Jammu.
Others who were present were Rajpual Sharma Sr.team member sunil kumar Team Member Mridulla Sharma Team member and Khusi Ram, Volunteer and Geeta Rakwal community social worker SOS Children village Jammu and ICDS workers.
