Ex legislator holds public meeting

JAMMU, Oct, 21: Former President BJP J&K and Ex Minister Sat Sharma (CA) held daily public sittings and interacted with deputations who called upon him.
The deputations were led by representatives from various wards of Jammu West Assembly segment who chalked out several problems being faced by the inhabitants of the wards.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful discussion was held with the deputations and many things came up during the meeting where the locals have stressed upon taking up some utmost important works in the areas and it will be seen that these works are taken up and completed in a stipulated time frame, he added.
Sharma said that he has asked the officials of concerned departments to immediately prepare the estimates and take up the remaining works in the areas covering all 26 wards of Jammu West and if any other area has left behind in terms of development, such work should also be taken up in order to provide better connectivity to the locals of the area. He also stated that he has also spoken to concerned Engineers of PWD (R&B), PHE (Jal Shakti) and JPDCL departments as well and has asked them to provide best roads to the public and uninterrupted supply of power & water across J&K.
