| Samba Police observe National Police Day | | |

SAMBA, Oct, 21: National Police Day was observed by District Police Samba in DPL Samba in which a Police Parade was held in the memory of Police Martyrs who had made supreme sacrifice of their lives in the line of duty.
During the occasion, SSP Samba enlisted the names of all the Police Martyrs who attained martyrdom for the motherland across the country and remembered them for their sacrifice while upholding the sovereignty and integrity of nation. Thereafter, SSP Samba along with other officers of Civil Admn. /Police/ security forces, retired police officers, families of Police Martyrs and prominent citizens of Samba paid floral tribute to Police Martyrs at Martyr's Memorial. Later, an interaction was held by SSP Samba with the NoK's of Martyrs and assured them of every possible help from Samba Police. The family members of Police Martyrs visited the Police Martyrs Gallery at DPL Samba. The gift items were also distributed among the families of Police Martyrs on National Police Day. Lastly, a plantation drive in the premises of DPL Samba was carried out in which plants were planted by the family members in the name of each martyr from district Samba. The function concluded with refreshment for all the guests. |
