I&C department's Divisional Level Committee sanctions subsidy cases of Jammu district

JAMMU, Oct, 22: Director Industries & Commerce, Jammu, Anoo Malhotra, roday chaired Divisional Level Committee meeting of Jammu District for sanctioning of subsidy cases under the State Package of Incentives.
The agenda of the meeting for the Jammu District was presented by Subah Mehta, General Manager, DIC Jammu [Member Secretary) for the approval of 100% DG Set Subsidy and 15% Capital Investment Subsidy (Prestigious Unit) cases by the committee.
The agenda was discussed threadbare by the committee members comprising of Dr. Tabassum, Chief Accounts Officer and Manisha Gupta (Dy. Director) P&S of Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Jammu.
The meeting was also attended by the Functional Manager of Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Shahzada Noor Ul Ain, and Project Manager, DIC, Jammu, Nazia Chowdhary.
The Committee approved two cases pertaining to D.G Set Subsidy and Capital Investment Subsidy amounting to Rs. 45.73 lakh of Jammu District.
Earlier in a meeting of District Level Committee of Jammu District held the other day, one 100% D.G Set Subsidy case amounting to Rs 4.59 lakh was also approved.
The Chairperson DLC stressed upon clearing all pending cases under the State Package of Incentives. The Chairperson directed for conducting the DLC meetings on regular intervals to clear the pendencies at DIC level so that the benefits of subsidies can be availed by the unit holders.
