DM SMVDSB flags off Prabhat Pheri

KATRA, Oct, 22: On the 6th day of Navratra a colouful Prabhat Pheri was taken out by Jammu and Kashmir Association of Prabhat Pheri with the active support of SMVD Shrine Board in association with district administration and public Katra by keeping all the covid guidelines intact.
Today's attraction was local ladies group comprising of Renu Arora,Raksha Verma, Chetna Sharma, Preeti Sharma, Kavita Sharma and others.
Earlier Chief Guest divisional manager SMVD Shrine Board Onkar Singh and Guest of Honour Vice principal GHS School Katra RS Jambal flagged off the Prabhat Pheri by cutting red ribbon in presence of Shiv Kumar Sharma former Joint Secretary J&K sports council & President of J&K Indian Style wrestling Association.
Chief Guest while speaking on the occasion extended greetings on eve the of Navratras & told that celebration of festivals are an important part of our glorious heritage and strengthening harmony & brotherhood among the society .She also prayed for the well being of people in the country.
The members present on the occasion were Ajay Sharma, R S. Manhas, Rattan Sharma, Ashwini Katoch, Rakesh Sharma, Dr Karan Gupta, Subash Gupta, Ravinder Sharma, Rattan chand, Rajinder Mengi, Kasturi Kerni, Pawan Kumar, Baldev Kumar, Murlidhar, Renue Ji Dhar, Vimal Sharma, P.N.
