JTC, stages protest demands jobs, relief

JAMMU, Oct, 22: Jagti Tenement Committee, K held protest under the leadership of it's president Shadi Lal Pandita. Pandita said if the government does not meet our demands as soon as possible, we will sit on the National Highway after the Mahanavmi for which 27-10-2020 date has been fixed in the meeting today,this Will include all relief holders and KPS youth from all camps and non camps to protest for the right. Pandita said today is the 21th day of protest sit -in while we are asking the government to increase the monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs13,000 to Rs 25,000 per month per family but the government is treating us like stepmother .To date, the BJP government has done nothing for Kashmiri Pandits, ever since the BJP government came to power, Kashmiri Pandits have been weeping. The government is oppressing our community and a conspiracy is being hatched to wipe out this Community. Pandita said that our agitation, protest, dharna will continue as Long as our demands are met. The chairman of the organization P L Pandita said that government Jobs should be given to those families where there is no government employee in the family. Provide free ration to those pensioners whose pensions are very low. The government should accept these three demans as soon as possible then we will stop our protest dharna. Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president JTC Convener of Soan Kashmir Front said that government should address our persistent demands.
