After massive protest by JJSF, Cluster University to adopt offline counseling

JAMMU, Oct, 23: Massive protest once again rocked Cluster University for demands of admissions in Colleges under the university. Fifth list was to be issued on Thursday but again as alleged by students there were huge irregularities in lists displayed.
Hundreds of students today gathered at Cluster University held massive protest for demand of admissions. The protest was led by Atul Sudan (Vice President JJSF) and Anshu Sharma (President MAM College Jammu).
Addressing the gathering Atul Sudan said that education is basic right of students and JJSF will fight tooth and nail for admissions of students in Cluster University. He said as we already said there are irregularities in admissions list and there is corruption in Cluster University. He said all the allegations got proved as 5th list released was cancelled itself by University knowing it is full of irregularities and students will agitate against it. Students on protest demanded enquiry of the admissions process.
Anshu Sharma addressing the students demanded offline admissions counseling so that there should be transparency in the admissions lists. Students' protests made University administration to come out and talk to the students.
Dean Academic Affairs Prof Bhopinder Singh, Dean Students Welfare Twinkle Suri, Controller Cluster University, Registrar Jatinder Khajuria, Ranjit Singh Jamwal Principal SPMR College of Commerce gave assurance to students to start offline counseling for around 2400 seats and assured that notice for same will be uploaded on University website. Dean Academic Affairs further informed that as per their demand enquiry committee has been constituted and Principal GGM Science College will head the committee which will submit its report within a week.
Others present during protest were Sunil Chouhan, Sahil Chouhan, Abhishek, Rahul, Anju, Sushil, Adityaraj, Sanjeev and Preeti.
