| VHP takes strong exception to Mehbooba’s views | | |

JAMMU, Oct 23: Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has taken strong exception to views expressed by Mehbooba Mufti, erstwhile prisoner in Srinagar who was also the Chief Minister of J&K for some time.
Mehbooba, while addressing a press conference today insulted national flag by comparing it to the flag of erstwhile J&K state, and by calling parliament’s resolution declaring abolition of Article 370 and 35 A reconstituting of J&K and Ladakh as separate Union Territories as “dacoity”; and by calling the government of India as “dacoits”.
It seems that she has lost her mental balance on knowing that she has lost her political base in Kashmir due to general public’s awakening and appreciation of abrogation of Article 370. Understanding fully well that people of J&K has welcomed the change and she has no scope for her political rehabilitation, she has resorted to the tactics of scoundrels and is trying to regain attention by singing anti-government and communal rhetoric. By mentioning Shri Ram Temple issue again, she has tried to disrespect Supreme Court and by mentioning CAA she has shown her communal state mind for persecuted minorities of erstwhile regions belonging to Bharat.
