Councilor Vijay Choudhary kick starts blacktopping work in Sec-4 Nanak Nagar

JAMMU, Oct 23: Former Mayor Jammu Ch Manmohan Singh and Councilor Ward No 42 Vijay Choudhary, kick started the black topping work in Nanak Nagar Sec-4, near Gorkha Mandir.
This project was initiated with the aid of Choudhary’s Constituency Development Fund. The black topping will continue upto Sec-2, 3 and 5.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Choudhary said that residents in her ward had raised this demand many times. She had promised this to them in Corporation elections too. Now she has fulfilled her promise to the residents of her ward. Many local residents, including the women of the area were present and they took it upon them to thank Choudharys for all the development work that has been done in their area. They said that black topping was done 13 years ago when Ch Manmohan Singh was Councilor and now his wife, Vijay Choudhary has taken up the baton for development of their ward. They said that they have full faith in Choudharys to help maintain an orderly and hygienic environment for them in such challenging times. They expressed gratitude to Choudharys for their strong work ethic, that even during lockdown, they were present for people and maintained disciplined work schedule for the sanitation staff.
Ch Manmohan Singh informed people that after the black topping of this area, he will monitor which other lanes need black topping too, and they will be completed next.
