JAMMU, Oct, 24: The investiture ceremony of Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur for the academic session 2020-2021 was held on virtual background.
The ceremony started by lighting the lamp which signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes the path of wisdom and divinity. It was followed with the inspirational and motivational speech by pro vice chairman of the school Dr J C Gupta.
Rahul Singh, Chairman Managing Committee of Delhi Public School Udhampur and Member DPS Society, New Delhi. Pramod Srivastava, President Jammu Sahodaya School Complex, Vivek Gupta, Managing Director DPS Udhampur, Dr Kunal Anand, Principal DPS Udhampur, Sucheta Gupta, Director Academics DPS Udhampur and the parents of students council also attended the ceremony.
Master Antariksh Gupta was bestowed as the head boy and Miss Anoushka Gandotra was bestowed as the head girl from senior council. Master Rish Sharma was declared the Jr. head boy and Miss Sargam Mahajan was declared as the Jr. head girl. The House Captains, The Sports Captains, the discipline captains and all the prefects were the other members of the student council.
The chief guest Rahul Singh, Chairman Managing Committee of DPS Udhampur and Member DPS Society, New Delhi administered the oath to the Student Council. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. |
