SRINAGAR, Oct, 24: Ranjeet Singh Chib, Rajesh Chandan,Mohd. Ashraf Parray were elected president, general secretary and treasurer of J&K Handball Association respectively in the annual general meeting of the Association held here today.
The election was held under the chairmanship of Adhoc Committee J&K Handball Association formed by the ( Handball Federation of India) at Srinagar. Mohd. Iqbal Observer J&K Olympic Association Tej Raj Singh observer HfI, Mushtaq Ahmed Zarjar observer J&K sports Council, K.V Singh returning officer.
Mohd. Yousaf, Sanjeev Singh Jamwal, Kaiser Asror Wani and Rajesh Kapoor were elected Joint Secretary, Sorab Sharma, Pawan Sharma ,Abdul Rouf and Jinder Pal Singh were elected Executive members Sports Officer Jammu and an observer from Handball Federation of India.
Narendra Mahajan were elected chairman of the Association, while Ashwani Kumar Raina were elected as senior vice president and Ravi Singh and Praval Kumar were elected vice president
After his election, president Ranjeet Singh Chib assured his team that he will leave no stone unturned in promoting Handball in nooks and corners of the State. He was authorized to take up matter regarding infrastructure, equipment and pending liabilities with Secretary State Sports Council. |
